Sadio Mane has constructed a stadium in his village, Bambali in Senegal. He played football on the former mud pitch when he visited his village in 2022. He took it upon himself to transform it to a stadium. He has now built a stadium, £455,000 hospital, £250,000 school, fuel station and post office for his people.

NUC, DENOUNCES LIST OF FAKE PROFESSORS IN NIGERIAN UNIVERSITIES

The National Universities Commission (NUC), has denounced the list of fake professors in some Nigerian Universities being circulated in the media by some mischief makers as reportedly published by a Lagos-based electronic media as untrue and could not have emanated from the apex regulatory educational body without due consultation with their accredited universities. According to Dr. Noel Abiodun Saliu, Deputy Executive Secretary in Charge of its Academic Directorate, he explained that such information should be taken as mischievous and unfounded; and could not have emanated from the National Universities Commission (NUC). He asserted that such publication should be taken as the handiwork of mischief-makers who are out to destroy the hard-earned reputation of those prestigious institutions whose names were mentioned and also to undermine the work of the apex regulatory educational agency.
