NIGERIA deserves the best, not leaders who are as inconsistent as the weather. With only few months to the end of this current regime, an absolute reflection on which way marches Nigeria forward, is in order.

Consistency is the hallmark of integrity, and any government that struggles with this is doomed to fail.

Obi remains true to what good governance entails and truly demands, irrespective of what any entity thinks. It didn't matter if he stood alone.

In 2013, he put his feet forward to enthrone inclusion and fairness in governance by offering a long neglected part of Anambra state the rare privilege of producing an executive governor. Many were aggrieved because in the course of things, there were very qualified candidates who had done over and above what is required to become gubernatorial candidates.

Obi not only scouted for candidates from that zone and presenting a couple of them, but also, went out of his way to carry the Anambra electorate faithfully, along in his choice.

Obi 's tenacity brought about the candidacy of HE Willie Obiano who had big shoes to fit into. Despite Obiano's gross personalization of Anambra government and the abysmal performance and monopoly of APGA during his era, the construction of the cargo airport in Anambra credited to Obiano wouldn't have been if Obi didn't insist on his candidature.

Many executive governors had come and finished their tenures in the state, but Peter Obi's impact in infrastructure, education, finance, etc; and by extension, Obiano's achievements too, is undoubtedly sterling.

Obi's pledge to Nigeria is transparency in governance that eschews wastefulness which will in turn, control inflation. With Baba-Ahmed, it is a pledge to stabilise the naira by making it possible for Nigerians to have confidence in their local currency once again, starting with the provision of security which will in turn, bring back investors into the country.

As two honourable public officers, these have never been linked with any fraudulent dealings or corrupt practices. Consistent and contented as they come, they have demonstrated that a Nigerian can be a decent politician.

In their businesses, they demonstrate grit and shrewdness that shocks the doubtful. Their businesses founded on professionalism, dispassion and tolerance, there is no anxiety regarding how governing Nigeria will turn out. 

Obi heads a conglomerate that is equitably spread out in the country and beyond. While Baba-Ahmed's investments incorporate the different facets of Nigeria's ethnic components.

Unquestionably, these men belong to a different breed of Politicians in a milieu that permits their ilk to get away with whatever they conceive to do. And this infamous privilege, they have refused to leverage.

Obi and Baba-Ahmed will make Nigeria great again. Their candidature is a signification of the rebirth of an invincible Nigeria.

FGC Wukari 1994 Class Donates Modern Water Facility to Alma Mater

The 1994 graduating class of Federal Government College (FGC) Wukari, Taraba State, has donated a modern water facility to the school for the use of both staff and students. This initiative was driven by the rising concerns over poor water supply in the college. The project, brought to fruition through the contributions of the 1994 alumni who have since established themselves in various fields, was officially handed over to the school management on August 24, 2024, by representatives of the class. Speaking at the handover ceremony, Professor Shishi Zhema, the current Vice-Chancellor of Kwararafa University, Wukari and a member of the 1994 class, reflected on their experiences as students at FGC Wukari. "When we were here, water was a significant challenge for us. We had to go to great lengths just to access clean water. That’s why we felt that addressing the water issue is a major priority for FGC and its host community.
