The mourning rites of the sixth Kpanghati (Madaki) Donga who reigned between 2015 and 2019 on his ancestral throne as one of the formidable and most powerful Chamba King Maker in the Donga Traditional Council. The date is 16th to 18th December, 2022 @ the Gana's family Compound, Kapye Street, Asibiti Ward, Donga - Taraba State.  This colossal historical event is a traditional way of characterizing the passing of a title holder (sunkuru) in the chamba land.  It is usually celebrated by the family of the deceased person or any person that will succeed or take over the title of the deceased.  It can be celebrated immediately the person passed away or be delayed based on the preceding circumstances at that moment.  For men it is celebrated within three (3) days and in the case of women, this monumental event is celebrated within four (4) days.
